Robert and May are unofficially engaged, but May is seduced by another man. She tells Robert she loves the other man, but she is soon dumped by him. Feeling she has lost everything, she goes to London and gets a job. Meanwhile, Robert has also gone to London where he is discovered by a famous actress and their first film together is very successful. Reading of Robert's success, May takes an opportunity as a stunt woman in the hope that one day she will get to see him again.
