“The African Dream”

In "The African Dream," Mickey Moorlock—now revered as a god by an African tribe—faces a desperate choice: return to New York to secure a robot body for the dying Cantina. With Willie Dugan having repaired X-Six and Cole Black arriving in the city alongside singer Ruby Star, the race is on to claim the machine before it falls into the wrong hands. Written and illustrated by Rocky Hartberg, this issue brings a dramatic conclusion to the arc begun in Cole Black #5, blending spiritual awe with high-stakes sci-fi tension.
