Cody of the Pony Express #1

This issue contains two stories. "Cody of the Pony Express" follows a Pony Express rider named Cody who must deliver mail through dangerous frontier territory while being pursued by an outlaw band led by the ruthless Juan Perez. After a climactic confrontation with the bandits in a desert setting with cacti and rock formations, Cody successfully completes his dangerous mail run. "Family Feud" is a prose story involving a ranching dispute over gold and inheritance, where the greedy Steve Barton plots with foreman Harry Dunfield to murder Frank Hartley to claim the Bar H Ranch, but the plan is thwarted when Sheriff Jim Powers intervenes. The comic also features a story about a Pony Express scout named Jim Coulter who encounters Native American tribes in Blackfoot territory while tracking game and dealing with tribal conflicts.
