Police officer Allison Andrews is called out in the middle of the night to investigate the murder of the governor. Things get strange when the governor's body quickly decomposes and folks start using Allison for target practice. She is even forced to kill her partner, Derek, when he turns on her. Allison is eventually knocked out and brought to a lab where she learns that many of the people in her life, including the ex-governor, are being controlled by alien parasites. She is offered a job to help stop them.
