This third volume of Rin Mikimoto's Close to Heaven sets a tender, dreamy tone right from its soft green polka-dot cover, where a silver-haired young man and a long-blonde-haired girl lean toward each other in an almost-kiss, a tiny fairy-like creature nestled between them. The delicate pastel palette and floral details perfectly capture the series' gentle romantic atmosphere. Published by Pika Édition in 2018, this volume is a lovely addition to a shōjo story that clearly wears its heart on its sleeve.
