Image's sci-fi thriller Clone reaches its ninth issue with a cover that puts the tension front and center: a battered, bloodied young man raises his hands in surrender while two armed women flank him on either side, each leveling a pistol directly at the viewer. Juan José Ryp's linework is characteristically precise, packing the composition with raw physicality — torn, stained clothing and bruised faces that make the standoff feel genuinely lived-in. It's a striking snapshot of a series that clearly isn't shy about putting its characters through the wringer.
