Clive Barker's Hellraiser reaches its eleventh issue from BOOM! Studios with a cover that is deeply unsettling in the best possible way — a massive, cracked face fills the entire frame, its skin stitched and scored with fine lines, while a centipede curls between decaying teeth and a small skull lurks within the gaping mouth. The painterly detail is remarkable, rewarding close inspection with layer upon layer of grim texture and dread. Mature-readers horror doesn't get much more viscerally atmospheric than this.
