The fourth chapter of Cliff & Co's second cycle arrives with a cover that radiates quiet dread — a white-haired woman stands tensed against a blood-red sky while the dark silhouette of a knife-wielding figure looms behind her, the subtitle "… des battements de ton cœur" giving the whole image an ominous, pulse-quickening charge. Moréa and Winoc craft a deceptively spare composition that says everything without showing too much. Published by Bamboo Édition in 2009, this installment looks like a compelling reason to follow the series all the way through.
