Cleopatra joins the last stand of the refugees against Octavian. Joining her power to that of her distant ancestor (Keubuchet's daughter) and that of her distant descendant (Yosira), she destroys Octavian at last, and is returned to her own time. Antony is sent to join her, and they lead Egypt to defeat an alien invasion of earth, poising Egypt to become the source of galactic civilization.
