Claymore #13

Volume 13 of Norihiro Yagi's Claymore arrives in its French Glénat edition subtitled Les Qualifiées, and the cover makes a striking impression: a silver-eyed warrior in dark cape and partial armor navigates a tangle of massive wooden beams above a field of pale grass, her expression steely and focused as she grips both the structure and what appears to be a small crossbow-like weapon. The dynamic perspective — looking down on her from above as she moves through the lattice — perfectly captures the series' blend of otherworldly tension and grim determination. Fans of Yagi's world of half-human warriors will find plenty to anticipate in this 2009 volume.
