Sarhon returns to home to Brittany and wonders if René will forgive her. René had been named administrator of her grandfather's estate, but he wanted to complete his studies in agronomy before he asked her grandfather for his blessing to marry her. One day, René had found an unconscious man whose car had gone off the road in the driving rain. The man was a famous star and his representative spent much time complementing Sarhon while the star remained unconscious at her house. He promised to make her a star if she went with him to Paris. But when she got to Paris, he had no use for her.
