Clash appears to be accepting Stromm's offer of a alliance, but he plans to use his sonic abilities to capture the villain. Things go wrong and Spider-Man has to save him and then tries to get him to see that he's violating his parole by operating as Clash. Clayton rejects this idea and turns on Spider-Man for real.
