This Tenth Anniversary Edition of City of Others brings together Steve Niles, Bernie Wrightson, and José Villarrubia's dark horror collaboration in one handsome volume. Wrightson's cover art is genuinely arresting — a pale, shaven-headed figure scrambles desperately through snow while a mob of gaunt, wild-eyed creatures armed with spears and axes surges behind him in the swirling storm. Villarrubia's muted, cold coloring gives the whole scene a dread-soaked atmosphere that makes this 2019 collection hard to put back on the shelf.
