City Boy #4

Part of DC's Dawn of DC initiative, City Boy #4 brings together an unlikely pairing as a wide-eyed young man in a red hoodie stands side by side with Nightwing atop what appears to be a gothic rooftop, a snarling stone gargoyle crouching before them while a swarm of bats fills the eerie green sky. Minkyu Jung's cover composition does a fine job of balancing the tension between City Boy's street-level vulnerability and Nightwing's cool, battle-ready confidence. Greg Pak's series continues to carve out an intriguing corner of the DC universe, and this issue looks like a genuinely compelling chapter in that story.
