Cinderella Love #13

Eva, a poor woman, falls in love with Peter, a wealthy man who initially pursues her romantically. When Peter's father reveals that he lost his fortune years ago and can never marry a woman without independent means, Peter abandons Eva to pursue Terry Morgan, a successful model and actress. Eva encounters Terry and a Hollywood producer on the road and learns of Terry's connection to Peter; devastated, she later meets Terry again at a cocktail party where Terry is with Peter. As the story concludes, Peter and Terry become engaged, leaving Eva heartbroken after discovering that her love was ultimately unreciprocated.
