This is the eighth issue of the Spanish comics magazine Cimoc, published by Norma Editorial in 1981. The magazine featured a mix of serialized and standalone stories from both Spanish and international creators, offering a diverse selection of genre comics to its readers.

In the sweltering sands of Praia da Baja, reporter Frank Cappa—known locally as Francisco—seeks quietude to write about Brazilian customs. Amid candomblé rituals and the mournful strains of folk songs, he forms an unlikely bond with Paulinho, a stubborn old jangadeiro whose ancestors were enslaved. What begins as a cultural immersion quickly turns into a harrowing fight for survival when a morning fishing trip strands them in open sea, hunted by relentless currents and circling sharks.
