Ciel sans pilote #3

The third volume of Wallace and Agosto's Ciel sans pilote takes the series into tense, atmospheric territory with a subtitle — Dans l'ombre du V2 — that says it all. The cover art is striking in its restraint: three silhouetted figures watch a V2 rocket thunder upward through billowing smoke and light, one of them gripping a pistol, while two smaller figures — suggesting a child and an adult — look on from a distance. It's a beautifully composed image that captures the dangerous wonder and wartime urgency at the heart of this Zéphyr Éditions series.
