Chihuahua #2

Things are getting decidedly soggy in Chihuahua — Une journée un peu humide, the second volume from Pascal Jousselin, Nob, Obion, and Lewis Trondheim. The cover plunges us into a swirling aquatic vortex where a wide-eyed boy, a bespectacled older man, a dark-caped figure, and a startled orange creature are all swept helplessly through a churning tunnel of teal water, books and debris scattering around them. It's a wonderfully chaotic image that promises plenty of waterlogged misadventure in this 2022 BD Kids release.
