Charlton's frontier adventurer rides again in this 1967 installment of Cheyenne Kid, with a cover by Luis Dominguez that frames the tension beautifully — a close-up of a stern, powerfully rendered warrior wearing a horned headdress and claw necklace dominates the foreground, while the Cheyenne Kid himself strides through firelit smoke behind him, pistol drawn and yellow bandana sharp against his blue shirt. The story title "Sioux Pay-Off" promises high-plains conflict, and with Joe Gill scripting and Dominguez handling both pencils and inks inside, this is a solid example of Charlton's dependable Western storytelling at twelve cents a copy.
