Cheyenne Kid #59
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeCharlton's Cheyenne Kid #59 from December 1966 promises "blazing six-gun action" as the Kid heads toward a "Barbary Coast Showdown" — and Luis Dominguez's cover delivers the tension in full, with a menacing, goggled villain looming large over the scene, rifle in hand, while the Cheyenne Kid in his blue jacket rushes a woman in a red dress away from the flames erupting behind them. The composition perfectly captures the waterfront danger of the Barbary Coast setting, with smoke and fire filling the background. Writer Joe Gill and artist Dominguez were a reliable Charlton team, and this issue looks like a fine showcase of their Western adventure craft.
