Charlton's Cheyenne Kid rides into December 1963 with this action-packed issue promising "Blazing Six-Gun Action" across two stories — "Gunslinger's Gratitude" and "Wild Heritage." The cover, penciled and inked by Dick Giordano with pencils also by Pat Masulli, presents the Kid three ways at once: scrambling for cover behind rocky terrain, leveling a rifle in a bold red-circle vignette, and staring out in a steely close-up portrait that makes it clear this is one gunfighter not to be taken lightly. With Joe Gill's scripting and Charles Nicholas and Vince Alascia handling the interior art, it's a fine example of Charlton's dependable, gritty Western storytelling at twelve cents a copy.
