Kathy learns that her older sister has died in a car accident. The driver of the car, a famous pianist, knows that Kathy was her only living family member and extends an offer for her to live at his estate. Bored with her current life, Kathy accepts. She finds Simón to be sincerely remorseful and is sympathetic toward him. When she discovers evidence that her sister has been complicit in the accident that caused her own death, Kathy doesn't know what to do. Deciding it is the only way to get Simón to return to his career, she decides to tell him the truth at the risk of losing him.
