Chasing the Dead #2

Based on Joe Schreiber's horror novel, this IDW adaptation continues to deliver winter dread in striking visual form. The cover places a lone young woman — bundled in a puffer jacket against a snowy, fog-shrouded night — directly beneath a towering, blood-streaked stone statue, bare trees clawing at the grey sky behind her. It's a quietly unsettling image, the smallness of the human figure against that looming, ominous monument doing a lot of heavy lifting for the series' atmosphere of relentless, creeping terror.
