Champion Comics #3 is an anthology featuring multiple stories. "Neptina—The Blazing Scarab" follows the sea goddess Neptina as she encounters Brad, a man stunned by an unknown assailant's ray gun; using a "thought-masker," Almersa helps Brad, but Neptina's jealousy complicates their bond and threatens to involve the outlaw women of the deep. "Jungleman" depicts the hero directing apes to hide jungle loot while he erases traces of their visit, then overhearing jewel thieves' plans to sell a cat's-paw for stolen gems before Rangoo delivers a message sending him away. "Revenge of the Zombies" concerns Dr. Hartmann, who has leased a Haitian estate for sinister research involving voodoo and the walking dead, as an educated Haitian named Rene Valjean is sent to investigate a party arriving at the property, including various suspects and the uneasy Miss Cole.
