The penultimate issue of Warren Ellis and Jason Howard's propulsive series arrives with one of its most striking covers: a dog outfitted in a gas mask sprints full-tilt across what appears to be the hull of a massive ship, with an ominous industrial skyline looming behind it and a masked figure watching in the distance. Jason Howard's stark black-and-white art is layered over military documents and technical blueprints, giving the whole image a wonderfully unsettling, espionage-thriller texture.
