Cells at Work! Code Black #2

This volume continues the gritty spin-off of Cells at Work!, set in a host body ravaged by poor health habits. It collects the second story arc of the series, where the beleaguered cells—including a rookie red blood cell and a battle-hardened white blood cell—face escalating threats from infections, lifestyle diseases, and a deteriorating environment. The volume is written by Shigemitsu Harada and illustrated by Issei Hatsuyoshi, maintaining the darker, more adult tone of the Code Black universe.
