Three suited men dominate the composition — a relaxed central figure smoking a cigarette astride a wooden chair, flanked by two stone-faced enforcers, one gripping a revolver and the other cradling a submachine gun, with a shadowy cityscape stretching out behind them. Published by Delcourt in 2005, this Sang Froid entry delivers exactly the kind of cool, period-gangster atmosphere the series has made its own.
