Catholic Comics #12 is an anthology featuring multiple stories with moral and religious themes. One story depicts a race between a hare and a tortoise that teaches a lesson about humility, ending with the tortoise winning and the hare learning that "the swiftest doesn't always win the race." Another story, "Pudgy Pig," shows a pig character learning not to engage in bull-fighting after being saved from a charging bull. The issue also includes "Jean Jogues: American Martyr Saint," which recounts the life of Isaac Jogues, a young seminarian in 1644 Rouen who aspires to serve God and eventually joins Jesuit missions in the Far East and works among Native Americans.
