This is an anthology issue containing at least two stories. "Father O'Malley and Ann Winslow" depicts a parish organizing a Holy Week program with the help of volunteers who form a working committee to arrange ceremony details and recruit ushers and choir members. "The Story of Pius XII" chronicles the early life and clerical career of Pope Pius XII, depicting him as a dignified prelate beloved by the people, and later showing him as Cardinal sending an encyclical message to Paris while burdened by the dismemberment of Catholic Action during the Mussolini era. A third story, "Droopy," features a mischievous child creating a boomerang indoors, which causes comedic chaos throughout the house before flying outside.
