Ramon's cover for this Bamboo Édition volume captures the lovable chaos at the heart of Cath & son chat perfectly: a gleefully oversized orange-and-white cat has absolutely demolished what was clearly meant to be a heartfelt "I ♥ Papa" gift shirt, shredding it to confetti while a dismayed pink-haired Cath holds a birthday cake and a flustered adult looks on in disbelief. With a wrapped present still waiting nearby and the best of intentions clearly gone sideways, this 2013 album from Cazenove & Richez promises the kind of warm, laugh-out-loud family comedy that makes this series so endearing.
