Everyone's favorite friendly ghost gets a surprise of his own in this December 1990 Harvey Comics issue — the cover shows Casper opening a jack-in-the-box, only to have a startled little elf go springing out on its coiled base, clearly catching them both off guard. Warren Kremer's clean, expressive linework gives the whole scene a wonderfully playful energy against that bright yellow background. A cheerful pick for fans of classic Harvey humor.
