Harvey Comics' long-running duo is in fine form on this cheerful 1973 cover, where Casper and his spectral horse Nightmare come bounding off the hood of a very animated orange car — complete with wide cartoon eyes and a grinning grille — while the startled driver looks on in disbelief. The bright yellow background and the familiar sidebar portraits of Casper, Nightmare, Wendy, the Ghostly Trio, and Spooky promise a full house of Harvey's friendliest characters.
