Casper & Nightmare #41

Harvey Comics' long-running team-up title brings Casper the Friendly Ghost and Nightmare the Galloping Ghost together for some wide-open Western fun in this April 1973 issue. The cover says it all: a gleeful Casper rides a bucking Nightmare bareback, hat flying, while a cowboy on horseback and a scrambling figure below try — and clearly fail — to wrangle the spirited ghost horse. The side panel also reminds readers that Wendy, the Ghostly Trio, and Spooky are along for the ride inside, making this a full house of Harvey's beloved characters at twenty cents a copy.
