Gabriel Bá's cover for Casanova #6 is a study in quiet unease — a solitary figure peers out from a deep purple porthole set against an inky black void, while autumn leaves drift past in vivid orange. The stark contrast between the warm, falling leaves and the cold isolation of that circular window gives the whole image an oddly melancholy pull. Matt Fraction and Gabriel Bá's sci-fi spy series was already turning heads in 2006, and this issue's cover art shows exactly why.
