The charming Dutch comic series Casa Kiki returns with its third volume, subtitled Gekke gasten ("Crazy Guests"), and the cover by Margreet de Heer and Yiri T. Kohl promises exactly that — a wonderfully chaotic crowd of oddball characters swarming the grounds of a handsome Mediterranean-style villa. From a camera crew and a scooter-riding arrival to an elderly man brandishing a pitchfork, a goat, and a sign reading "Groenteboer zoekt vrouw" ("Vegetable farmer seeks wife"), the scene is gloriously busy and full of comic energy. Published by Personalia in 2024 and known from the Dutch girls' magazine Tina, this is a genuinely fun all-ages adventure that wears its warm, playful spirit right on its cover.
