“Dexter Tackles Math (And It Tackles Back)”

This July 2005 DC anthology brings together three of Cartoon Network's most beloved casts on one energetic cover: Dexter — the pint-sized, beret-wearing boy genius — dominates the foreground, wide-eyed and open-mouthed as oversized mechanical numbers (8, 5, 0, 4) apparently fight back in chaotic, robotic fashion, while a notepad hints at the mathematical mayhem ahead in "Dexter Tackles Math (And It Tackles Back)." Tucked into the lower panels are Grim Adventure characters in their signature spooky-meets-silly style, and the Ed, Edd n Eddy trio looking gloriously frantic. Robert Pope's cover pencils and inks capture the cheerful, kinetic spirit that made this anthology series such a fun read for Cartoon Network fans.
