The concluding chapter of "What Dwells Beneath" arrives in striking fashion, with Michael Walsh's cover depicting a massive, writhing Carnage symbiote form — one unsettling human eye peering out from its churning red mass — while several small figures in teal struggle desperately against its tendrils. Gerry Conway and Mike Perkins bring this arc to its end with the symbiote rendered at an almost incomprehensible scale, dwarfing the humans caught in its reach.
