Carmen Cru #2
This second volume of the Carmen Cru series, subtitled 'La Dame de Fer,' collects the next chapter in the misadventures of the cantankerous elderly heroine. Written and illustrated by Lelong, the story continues Carmen's clashes with modern society and her stubborn, often hilarious, resistance to change. Originally serialized in the early issues of the magazine Fluide Glacial, this album presents a classic example of French absurdist humor and sharp social observation.
Carmen Cru #2 (1985) features the story "Le terreau," written and drawn by Jean-Marc Lelong, with inking and lettering also by him. The cover, credited to Jean-Marc Lelong for both pencils and inks, presents the issue’s distinctive visual style.
