Diabolicus lands a small spacecraft on the streets of Cityville, watched by friends Anne and Nick Stacey, who slips away to change into Captain Zilog as Diabolicus calls the citizens his subjects and proclaims the benefits of his satellite station run by powerful computers. Captain Zilog tells him the Z8000 microprocessor is better and forces Diabolicus to flee in his craft. He returns later and clones himself into seven identical figures, but Captain Zilogfinds the real one. Diabolicus admits the benefits of the Z8000, but plots revenge as soon as he's back in his space craft.
