This anthology issue contains multiple stories. "Miss Victory" depicts organized bands of corrupt politicians and diplomats in Washington, D.C. being thwarted by the patriotic heroine Miss Victory. "The Red Cross," drawn by Jack Alderman, follows the Red Cross symbol as it aids Polish resistance fighters opposing Nazi occupation, portraying the organization as a beacon of hope for doctors and nurses in the underground movement. A third untitled story involves military reconnaissance of a Japanese submarine base hidden in the Solomon Islands, with agents infiltrating the village of Sallamua to gather intelligence on enemy positions.
