While testing his new invention, the cable car catapult, Captain Midnight is captured by the McGee gang, then Cap is rescued by Icky and McGee is also nabbed. However, the gang successfully stops the Police from reaching Midnight, switching uniforms with the Police and attempting to get McGee back. An alert phone repairman saves the day.
