Captain Midnight #26

Captain Midnight investigates the Hotel of Horror, where he encounters a villain controlling ghostly apparitions created with glass statues filled with neon gas. After discovering the deception, Captain Midnight pursues the villain and his associate Leopold, who is working under orders from Hitler. During a climactic aerial battle involving a special gas gun that solidifies moisture in the air into ice, Captain Midnight defeats the enemy and safely returns to his Nevada headquarters to brief his aides on the mission.
