Captain Marvel Jr. #81
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis January 1950 Fawcett publication from Kurt Schaffenberger presents a wonderfully offbeat cover: a taunting figure in an orange coat tips his hat and dares Captain Marvel Jr. to throw a punch, while the blue-suited, lightning-bolt-emblazoned hero looks genuinely flustered by the challenge. The teaser box promising "The Mysterious Mr. Mirage!" hints at some very clever mischief ahead, and with a generous 52 pages of content — written by Otto Binder and drawn by Joe Certa — there's plenty of room for the story to deliver on that intrigue.
