Captain Marvel Jr. #108
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeLanguage itself seems to go haywire on this vivid yellow cover to Captain Marvel Jr. #108, where Bud Thompson depicts the blue-caped hero at the center of a scrambled-speech spectacular — speech bubbles bursting with gloriously nonsensical phrases like "Thizziz Capitol Marvel June Year Spigging!" and "Skillaboch Maruko?" surround multiple vignettes of Cap Jr. in action, including a brawl panel, a baffling cereal-bowl moment labeled "Snoop! Crukle! Poop!," and a small white animal adding to the chaos. The cover neatly teases the featured story, "The World of Babel," promising a tale where communication itself is the battleground. Fawcett's April 1952 issue even throws in a bonus science feature on the story of rockets — quite the ten-cent package.
