Captain Marvel #7
This interactive sound book from PI Kids brings the world of Captain America and the Falcon to life with seven buttons that play sounds and phrases from the Marvel Universe. Designed for young readers, it features artwork and themes tied to the heroic duo, though it is not a traditional comic collection but a novelty board book. The volume is part of a broader Marvel publishing line, not the Captain Marvel series despite the catalog listing, and focuses on Steve Rogers and Sam Wilson's adventures.
In "Vacation, All I Never Wanted," Carol Danvers faces a chilling twist when a woman emerges from a stolen version of her own suit, attacking her with eerie precision. As she tracks down the source, Carol discovers a disturbing pattern: Vox Supreme is gathering Marvels, and with Ms. Marvel now in danger, she must race to protect those still unaccounted for. Written by Kelly Thompson and brought to life by Sergio Dávila with inks by Sean Parsons, colors by Jesus Aburtov, and letters by VC's Clayton Cowles, the issue's cover by Iban Coello captures the tension with striking clarity.
