Captain Marvel #18 (152)
In "Accused Part One," Carol Danvers steps into her new role as Kree Accuser, sent to the ruined sanctuary city of K'in-al—a place meant to unite Kree and Skrull—where a terrorist attack has left devastation in its wake. Facing a Kree warrior who claims innocence and reveals a shocking connection to her, Carol must navigate a mission that tests her loyalty, her identity, and the truth behind the destruction. Written by Kelly Thompson and illustrated by Cory Smith, with inks by Adriano Di Benedetto, colors by Tamra Bonvillain, and letters by VC's Clayton Cowles, the issue’s cover by Jorge Molina captures the tension of a fractured peace.
