Part three of "Dark Origins" arrives with a cover by Phil Noto that makes the threat unmistakably personal — a grizzled, silver-haired figure peers down the scope of a futuristic weapon, and there in the crosshairs, small but resolute, is Captain Marvel herself charging straight toward the barrel. The composition is quietly chilling, all teal circuitry and warm amber targeting reticle pulling your eye directly to Carol's silhouette. Margaret Stohl and Michele Bandini's 2018 run continues to put its hero in genuine danger, and this image alone promises the stakes are only getting higher.
