Captain Conspiracy Special #1
In *Captain Conspiracy Special #1*, written by Frank Daniels and illustrated by Mark Martin in a fully self-contained artistic effort, the titular hero races to stop a deadly conspiracy that puts the vice president’s life in peril—only to be framed as the culprit when the real threat, the Crack Food Master, escapes. With Russian separatists also targeting a federal building and the president calling in the Obese American, chaos unfolds as Captain Conspiracy fights to clear his name and expose the truth. The cover by Mark Martin captures the high-stakes tension of a 2016 comic where loyalty is questioned and the line between hero and villain blurs.
