“Enter: Solarr!”

"Enter: Solarr!" brings a pivotal moment in Captain America's journey, as the Falcon seeks help from Cap after being ambushed—leading to a tense alliance with the Black Panther and Leila Taylor in Wakanda. With Peggy Carter now at SHIELD and the Committee to Regain America's Principles mounting a smear campaign, Cap is drawn into a rigged charity fight against the Tumbler, setting off a dangerous conspiracy. Written by Steve Englehart and Mike Friedrich, with dynamic art by Sal Buscema and inks by Frank McLaughlin, this issue captures the era's political unrest and personal stakes, all capped by a striking cover by John Romita and Tony Mortellaro.

The Falcon is attacked by a street gang and needs help from Captain America. Frustrated by simply being a "costumed athlete" he asks Cap to contact the Black Panther for help. T'Challa takes the Falcon and Leila Taylor to Wakanda. Cap learns that Peggy Carter has joined SHIELD. The Committee to Regain America's Principles, led by Quentin Harderman, begins a campaign to publicly discredit Captain America. Harderman sets up a charity fight between Cap and the Tumbler. During the fight the Tumbler is seemingly killed by Cap but Harderman had secretly hired an assassin to setup Cap as a murderer.
