Hawkeye faces long odds on Patrick Zircher's cover for this 2012 Marvel team-up title, as the archer in his purple uniform plants his feet and fires point-blank into the jaws of a massive, glowing-eyed dinosaur-like creature looming over him with claws already bloodied. It's a striking image of sheer nerve — one man with a bow against something that size — setting a tense, prehistoric-threat tone for the series. Cullen Bunn writes, with interior art from Alessandro Vitti, Matteo Buffagni, and colorist Javier Tartaglia bringing the action to life.
